We are the Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART)
Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) of Orangevale-Fair Oaks was formed in 2021 by a group of compassionate neighbors as a program of the non-profit Orangevale-Fair Oaks Community Foundation. The mission of the Community Foundation is to meet the practical needs in Orangevale and Fair Oaks by creating opportunities for generosity and selflessness. Community Foundation of Orangevale and Fair Oaks is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (EIN 47-3548647)
HART of Orangevale-Fair Oaks is an organization modeled after other successful Sacramento area HART programs. Each HART group creates its own mission dedicated to the needs of their unhoused neighbors in their local community.
The mission of HART of Orangevale-Fair Oaks is to assist our at-risk neighbors and those experiencing homelessness to move toward self-sufficiency and greater independence. This is carried out by a dedicated group of compassionate volunteers in collaboration with community members, faith-based organizations and local businesses.
