We rely on community volunteers to hold weekly outreach activities to our unhoused neighbors. At HART, we believe that compassion leads to progress. We invite you to join us as we support a vulnerable population in Fair Oaks and Orangevale and address one of our community's biggest challenges.
HART Outreach Activities

Youth Outreach
OVFO HART partners with About Kids and SJUSD's McKinney- Vento program to provide resources and school supplies to school age children in Orangevale and Fair Oaks . Each year we hold a backpack drive to gather supplies for our students who are living in some type of housing transition.
Freshen Up Weekly Showers
The Freshen Up Shower is available on Thursdays in the parking lot at Pathway Fellowship at 8999 Greenback Lane in Orangevale.
NEW Summer Hours:
June 1 - Sept 30, 10am - 12pm

We provide a nice warm 10-15 minute shower & clean clothing plus any supplies on hand such as: toiletries, first aid supplies and hats & gloves. Community Health Works Workers visit with our guests to help meet their needs.

Mid-Week Meals
Our Mid-Week Meal program is available on Wednesdays from
12-1 pm at New Life Community Church, 8101 Sunset Avenue in Fair Oaks as of Sept 18th, 2024.

Our volunteers serve our neighbors in need with a nutritious warm meal.
Community Health Works Workers (formerly known as Housing Navigators) visit with our guests and offer a chance to check in and learn about additional referrals & resources to meet their needs.
